100km Ultra Race

The 100km event starts at the Henry Angel Trackhead.  The track is a mixture of constructed walking track, 90% single trail and the rest on  fire trails. The highest point is over 1200 metres in elevation. The route passes old gold mining relics, a hand dug tunnel, Mannus lake, Paddy’s River Dam and lots of wildlife. The 100km course follows a section of the 100 mile course, cutting the distance at each end and no added loop, finishing at Henry Angel Trackhead.

Entry Qualification

There is no strict qualification requirement, however we recommend that participants have completed an endurance event of at least a marathon distance or equivalent duration. This race requires extended sections without aid through remote areas where assistance and extraction is difficult and therefore runners should be confident in their ability to cover the terrain in the required time.
